03who is akro

the story

AKRO CAFE is an East Asian–inspired cafe crafted around culturally rooted coffee, tea, and food, made to bring people together.

Founded by three Asian friends, creatives with a shared passion for innovation, community, and culture, Akro exists to introduce a more intentional and authentic interpretation of Asian cafe culture into the American coffee scene, as a meaningful and lasting movement.

Every drink starts from a memory: an after-school banana milk, a backyard guava tree, jasmine steeping on the stove. We shoot our world on film, pour with intention, and build the kind of space we grew up wishing we had.

the name

Derived from the Greek word meaning "highest" or "topmost." A pursuit of intentionality and purpose in everything we pour.

α → Ω

In the logomark, the 'a' references the fish symbol and Alpha; the 'o' draws from Omega. The beginning and the end, the foundation behind AKRO.

shot on film

Our visual world is analog: grain, warmth, and the imperfect frame. If it looks a little handmade, that's the point.
